Exclusive collaboration of Palmers and MAK, Austrian Museum of Applied Arts, resulted from mutual passion towards art and aesthetics.

Through a unique Art Nouveau collection of lingerie and home wear, appeal of Viennese modernism is celebrated, and in this way art becomes a part of our everyday life. One of the temples of art and culture is certainly a Viennese Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) that has served as inspiration to Palmers, and it is with the museum that they decided to ensure this unique collaboration.

Creative head of Palmers, Gabriele Schöller, has selected sketches of the two most prominent artists of Viennese Modernism, printed them onto silk and transferred them into embroidery embellished by golden details and enriched by Swarovski crystals.

Art Nouveau collection is characterised by Josef Hoffmann’s design of a chandelier that is reinterpreted on brassiere cups made from tulle, while brilliant print design by Koloman Moser’s “star flower prints” adorns the new collection of Palmers home wear.
