35 Years of the Vatreni – A Special Exhibition

It’s been 35 years since the Croatian national football team played its very first match. In honor of the Vatreni and their unforgettable moments, City Center one East, in collaboration with the Croatian Football Federation, is hosting a pop-up museum from October 6 to 19. The exhibition takes you through the most emotional moments in Croatian football – from historic goals to victories that united the nation.

Croatia played its first official match in 1990 against the USA. Relive that historic moment through the original ticket and match poster. The iconic red-and-white checkers are now a symbol of the Vatreni, but the 1992 jersey looked quite different. Curious? Come and see for yourself. In 2018, Russia brought the greatest success in Croatian football history. The exhibition features the ball from the final match, a signed captain’s armband, and Subašić’s gloves and boots.

And that’s just a small part of the football history waiting for you at City Center one East, every day from 9 AM to 9 PM, until October 19.

Explore jerseys, photos, and memorabilia that tell a story of passion, perseverance, and pride.

See you there!
