When classical aesthetics meet contemporary style.

The new image campaign of City Center one is inspired by the world of the old masters: light, composition, and timeless poses.

 

In a world where fashion is constantly changing, City Center one brings the focus back to details that endure: carefully selected silhouettes, expressive textures, and a strong sense of personal style. Everyday elements are transformed into visual motifs, and familiar shopping attributes are given new aesthetic value—almost as if lifted straight from a canvas and placed into a contemporary context.

“The new campaign is special for several reasons. Working under the title ‘Classic Shopping’, it symbolizes something timeless, familiar, and universally recognized, much like the classical paintings of the 17th-century Dutch masters. For this reason, the new image campaign ‘Shopping since 2006’ is in fact a homage to the aesthetics of the great painters of that era, reinterpreted through contemporary city iconography. As this marks a major anniversary, I incorporated visual motifs, set design, and props that have appeared in City Center one campaigns over the past 20 years,” says Mladen Šarić, photographer and creative director of the campaign.

Muted grey, desaturated tones create a calm visual stage, while yellow accents introduce energy and reinforce the brand signature. The campaign as a whole celebrates individuality, creativity, and freedom of expression—because at City Center one, shopping has never been just about purchasing, but about the experience.

And it has been that way since 2006.
