As a well-known saying goes "health is our greatest wealth", therefore City Center one supported by Andrija Štampar Teaching Institute of Public Health, Croatian Red Cross and Croatian Red Cross Youth as well as Europa Donna association and CeliVita would like to invite you for Health Days organized on 19th and 20th May.

IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY DIET
Healthy and balanced diet is a key factor in your physical but also mental health. Although busy and hectic lifestyle leaves little time for proper nutrition, its importance should not be overlooked.

This is why on Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon a nutritionist from Europa Donna is teaching you how to prepare simple and healthy smoothies using dmBio products and NutriBullet that can turn them into a tasty drink in a matter of seconds. Also, hear about the recommendations on how to look after your health by preparing your food in a healthy way. On the same day, from 4 PM to 5 PM the visitors will have a chance at learning more about Celiac disease and gluten free diet while discovering how tasty it can be at an educational workshop by CeliVita association, led by a Nenad Bratković, a nutritionist

EDUCATION FOR YOUNG AND OLD
On Saturday and Sunday, at 11 AM, 3 PM and 6 PM, at our first aid course the young and the old will have a chance at learning about how to react when somebody’s life is in immediate danger. While the grown-ups learn about the condition of urgent first aid, unconscious state, resuscitation procedure, stopping haemorrhages and chocking, the youngsters can broaden their knowledge by helping Jurica the Teddy Bear, as well as through numerous entertaining activities.

FREE CHECK-UPS FOR EVERYBODY
On Sunday, 20th May from 11 AM to 3 PM, you can check your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar level for free, and from 4 PM to7 PM you can do your spirometry and oximetry.
