DISCOVER WHAT’S UP THERE
Enjoy an extraordinary sight and learn something new!

When was the last time you enjoyed the view of a starry sky? If it takes you more than 10 seconds to answer, then it’s the perfect time to visit your City Center one, enjoy the view, and learn something along the way.
From June 23 to July 5, visitors to City Center one West will have the opportunity to explore the educational installation Stars Come to the City, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of reducing light pollution and its impact on people and the environment. Step into this charming setup—literally turn off the lights and discover what remains hidden every night due to artificial lighting. Once the lights go out, the installation reveals stars, asteroids, celestial bodies, as well as depictions of nocturnal animals and plant life.
And if you’re curious about what the real sky above us looks like, the best way to find out is by visiting the Zagreb Observatory. Located at Opatička 22, Zagreb’s story of space, science, and endless curiosity has been going strong for over 120 years. Sky observations are open to everyone—as long as the sky is clear—and admission is free. For more information, visit zvjezdarnica.hr.
City Center one proudly supports the restoration of the main telescope at the Zagreb Observatory, which was damaged in the earthquake. Through this donation, we aim to contribute to the spread of astronomical knowledge and support the continuation of valuable work in science popularization.
