On September 4, get ready for a showtime with the Blazers at City Center one West.
This football festival, organized by the Croatian Football Federation, will bring together the entire Croatian national team. They will showcase their skills in an attractive 3-on-3 format in the outdoor parking lot of City Center one West. This gives you a unique opportunity to see Modrić, Kovačić, Gvardiol, Perišić and other Blazers perform their stunts in a different setting. Their exceptional competitive spirit will undoubtedly come to the forefront as well.
“I am really looking forward to this tournament because we are going to break away from the usual soccer routine and try out a completely different format. I am really interested to see how some of the guys handle street football and I am sure that everyone will do their best to win in the end,” said the world’s most expensive defender and star of Manchester City, Joško Gvardiol.
Other players, including the Croatian women’s national football team, which will play at around 3 p.m., will also take part in the street football during the day. In addition to this football show, a whole day (10 a.m. – 9 p.m.) program has been arranged for football fans as part of Blazing Monday. It includes numerous activities and events, as well as various games for children.
After the street football tournament, the five brightest stars among the Blazers – Luka Modrić, Ivan Perišić, Mateo Kovačić, Joško Gvardiol and Dominik Livaković – will sign Croatian Football Federation merchandise (which will be available for purchase at the event) at the Sport Vision store at City Center one West.
MaxSport will broadcast the street football tournament live. Visitors will be able to follow the action on two large LED screens placed next to the pitch.
