Can you list five Croats whose personalities and work have made a lasting impression on the whole world? Don’t worry, we have chosen as many as thirteen for the Path of Croatian greats exhibit, and you will have the chance to learn about them at the City Center one from May 2nd till May 8th .
In fact, life-size sculptures of thirteen of the most important Croatian figures will be displayed in your favorite shopping mall. These unique pieces were created under the direction of a young artist, Nikola Vudrag, and each of them will have a QR code that you can scan to get interesting information about the life of a historical figure who has contributed not only to Croatian but also to global culture. For example, you will discover which Croat has made space travel possible, who is responsible for modern oil exploitation, and whose ideas actually made Ferdinand von Zeppelin famous.
Stop by the City Center one and learn more about the life of Ivan Meštrović, Slavoljub Penkala, Marin Getaldić, Milka Trnina, Dražen Petrović, Faust Vrančić, Nikola Tesla, Andrija Mohorovičić, Marko Polo, Josip Belušić, Nikola Šubić Zrinski, Ivan Vučetić and Ruđer Bošković.
