On Saturday, August 22, from 10:00 AM, enjoy a vibrant programme of music and dance performances from all corners of the globe. As part of the 5th International Folklore Festival, taking place from August 18 to 22 at several venues across Split and the surrounding area, City Center one once again becomes one of the locations where visitors can experience this incredible event.
Organized by FA Jedinstvo, Croatia’s most awarded folklore ensemble and a long-standing partner of City Center one, the event will feature six outstanding international folklore groups. From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, visitors will be entertained by performances at several locations throughout the Center, while the festival’s main programme will take place at 11:00 AM on the ground floor.
On the ground floor of City Center one, visitors can also enjoy a range of activities with their children, including the creation of traditional hairstyles and jewellery, as well as an exhibition of traditional folk costumes. Younger visitors can have fun colouring ethnographic-themed colouring books.
In addition, from August 17 to 22, you will have the opportunity to visit a retrospective photo exhibition featuring highlights from all previous editions of the festival.
