IT’S TIME TO MOVE

Don't miss out on a sports and educational event for little and slightly bigger visitors: Sport is our thing, held on the roof of the City Center garage on 12 and 13 June.

It is well known that sports activities play an important role in the development of children. Not only has the sport positive impact on the children’s health, but it also enables the children to develop their independence, to make new friends and to improve their ability to concentrate. Take advantage of the nice weather of this weekend and bring the kids to the event Sport is our thing on the roof of the garage of City Center one Split on 12 and 13 June and from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The children will have the opportunity to learn more about cycling, skateboarding and roller skating, and to try each of these activities in the rinks, under the watchful eye of the instructors. The lack of equipment is not a reason miss out on this event, because it will be provided for all visitors who do not have their own equipment. At the roller-skating rink, the children will be welcomed by the members of the Roller Skating Club Rošule. In addition to cool dance choreographies, they will present roller hockey, and they have prepared free training and even a roller-skating disco for visitors.

The Cycling Association of the Splitsko-dalmatinska County will welcome children on two cycling rinks – one for children up to 8 years of age, and the other one, with slightly more demanding obstacles, for those up to 16 years of age. If your little ones enjoy dexterity rides and mini competitions, then you must visit that rink.

The eyes of little and adult visitors will certainly be fixed on the skateboard rink. There, the members of the Skateboard Club Kolo will perform their attractive exercises, while two coaches will show the kids the basics and secret tricks for unforgettable figures during the weekend.

And in addition to sports activities, young visitors will have the opportunity to join workshops on first aid and traffic safety, and thus acquire knowledge that always comes in handy.

Diplomas for the little participants of this great event are provided, so prepare good will, a little sportsmanship and stop by City Center one. See you!
